The final of the North East Lincolnshire School Sports Partnership Y5/6 Sports Hall Athletics took place at Western Sports Hall on Wednesday 26th January 2011. The final follows on from numerous family level festivals with the winners progressing to the final. 9 schools contested the final in a variety of track & field events supported by Cleethorpes & District Athletics lub & volunteers from Franklin College & Grimsby Institute. After a tough day of competition the final results were as follows:
1st - Welholme Community Primary
2nd - Healing Primary
3rd - Fairfield Primary
4th - Humberston Cloverfields
5th - Great Coates Primary
6th - South Parade Primary
7th - Allerton Primary
8th - Signhills Juniors
9th - Old Clee Primary
Congratulations to Welholme Community Primary who will now represent North East Lincs & the Humber Finals at Ennerdale Leisure Centure on 1st February 2011.
