On Thursday 29th September, 9 teams took part in the Yr5/6 Quick Sticks Hockey competition at Oasis Academy Wintringham in glorious sunshine!
The format for the event was a league system, with each team playing 8 games.
The competition was played in a fantastic spirit which encapsulated the school games values of respect and teamwork. There was also some fantastic Hockey on show, with teams passing the ball well and at speed, and attacking/defending brilliantly as a team.
The final positionings were as follows:
Fairfield 1st
Lisle A 2nd
Elliston A 3rd
St Mary's 4th
Lisle B 5th
Elliston B 6th
Welholme B 7th
Welholme A 8th
Welholme C 9th
Congratulations to winners Fairfield Academy who finished the competition with a 100% record, winning all 8 of their matches.
