The 2015/2016 Yr5/6 Indoor Rowing Competition took place on Thursday 22nd October at Franklin College.
Competing teams were Fairfield (2teams) Willows (2 teams) Macaulay, Springfield, St Martins and Eastfield.
After a 30 minute training session focusing on technique and safety, the competition got underway.
Schools were competing across a number of categories including individual, pairs, quads, finishing with a frantic 8 pupil team relay!
Congratulations to Fairfield Academy who finished the day with a 100% record, an outstanding achievement winning all their races.
The determination, encouragement and teamworking skills on display from ALL schools was a fantastic signt to see - well done to all!
