On Wednesday 25th November 2009, the Primary schools in the Wintringham family gathered together to compete in a Sportshall Athletics Competition.
The event, marshalled by Year 10 Sports Leaders from the Academy was a keenly contested affair and the result was in doubt right up to the final event.
In the end it was Nunsthorpe Community School who narrowly edged past Welholme and will now go on to represent the Wintringham family in the Grand Final at Grimsby Leisure Centre next week.
Congratulations to all four schools who competed in a friendly, sporting and yet determined manner.
