Heat 2 of the 2015/2016 Sports Hall Athletics Heats got underway on Thursday 12th November at the Grimsby Institute.
This is the second heat of 28 competing schools this year, our best participation ever! The top 8 schools across all heats will progress to the grand final, taking place on Wednesday 2nd December at the Grimsby Institute.
Schools competing in heat 2 were Edward Heneage, Macaulay, Reynolds, Springfield, St James, St Josephs, St Mary's and Yarborough.
The winning school of the day was Edward Heneage who won 13/24 of their events across the girls and boys categories, and 8/12 from their outstanding girls team - well done!
In 2nd place was Springfield, due to their consistancy across both the girls and boys events.
St James (3rd) Yarborough (4th) Reynolds (5th) St Mary's (6th) Macaulay (7th) and St Josephs (8th) completed the scoring in what was a fantastic competitive and sporting event.
