The 2015/2016 Sports Hall Athletics Heats got underway on Tuesday 3rd November at Oasis Academy Immingham.
This is the first heat of 28 competing schools this year, our best participation ever! The top 8 schools across all heats will progress to the grand final, taking place on Wednesday 2nd December at the Grimsby Institute.
Schools competing in the Immingham heat were Coomb Briggs, Eastfield, Allerton and Canon Peter Hall.
The winning school of the day was Coomb Briggs who won 15/24 of their events across the girls and boys categories, a fantastic achievement. In 2nd place was Canon Peter Hall, 3rd Eastfield and 4th Allerton. All 4 schools have the opportunity to progress to the final, based on their scoring.
A special mention to the student leaders from Oasis Immingham who did a fantastic job timekeeping, scoring and measuring jumps - well done!
