On Tuesday 4th June the annual NEL SSP ASDA Y5 Kwik Cricket event took place kindly hosted and led by Grimsby Cricket Club and supported by ASDA Grimsby.
The event was contested by teams from Scartho Juniors, Laceby Acres, Macauley and Yarborough Primary Schools. The teams battled in a league format gaining points for the schools has the day progressed.
At the endof the competition Scartho Juniors emerged victorius taking their second title of the week. Overall finishing positions were as follows:
