The North East Lincolnshire School Sports Partnership's Y5/6 Girls Kwik Cricket Comeptition took place yesterday at Cleethorpes Cricket Club.
Girls from 5 schools battled it out in a league format on a cold day for Cricket. South Parade Primary School emerged victorius & were crowned champions in an impressive unbeaten run.
Please find attached the results & final league positions form yesterday’s Y5/6 Girls Kwik Cricket event. I hope the children enjoyed the event & are enthused about going to Cleethorpes Cricket Club on a Friday 6.30pm to develop their skills further.
Unfortunately there is no progression to the Level 3 Humber School Games from this event however, if your girls enjoyed the competition yesterday there are numerous opportunities of similar style competition through the club setting.
