How to Play!- ‘Through the Gate’

 

•Set up a ‘gate’ using two cones or floor markers.

Your gate should be:

•Year 1/2 Players-  gate to be 3 metres wide.

•Year 3/4 Players – gate to be 2.5 metres wide.

•Year 5/6 Players – gate to be 2 metres wide.

•Set a 60 second timer using a stopwatch or phone.

•How many passes can you make between yourself and a partner in 60 seconds?

•Playing alone? Set your markers up against a wall and count how many passes you can make against the wall between your markers.

•Players must be at least 1 metre from the gate.

How to Score!

•Your score should be the total amount of passes you can make within a 60 second limit

•Ask a friend, parent, carer or teacher to score you.

•Have as many goes as you want to get the best score.

How to Enter!

•Register your school on www.nelssp.co.uk/events

•Log in to the website with your unique details.

•Click ‘Virtual Challenges’

•Click ‘Add Results’

•Your results will be populated in to a live table.

•The deadline for entries is Wednesday 11th November.

You can enter as a pair (Individual competition) or as a school team (Inter School)

For a school team entry, the average results across the pairs must be recorded e.g. 5 pairs score 15,20, 25, 12 & 6 the recorded score is 15.6.
