Y9 Dodgeball Competition

On Friday 9th July 2010 the Oasis Academy Wintringham hosted the first of hopefully many Y9 Dodgeball Competition. The competition was aimed at those individuals not usually involved in mainstream sports. Matthew Humberstone, Humberston, Wintringham, Lindsey & Havelock all participated in the event with both boys & girls teams represented. The ethos of Dodgeball is simple – to laugh a lot and get involved. It’s more fun than going for a run, it’s more sociable than the gym, it’s something a little leftfield and crazy. The afternoon was enjoyed by all & will look to become a regular competition on the North East Lincolnshires calendar. The final positions were as follows:

Y9 Dodgeball - Boys

  1. Lindsey A - 15pts
  2. Lindsey B - 13pts
  3. Wintringham - 11pts
  4. Havelock - 9pts
  5. Humberston - 7pts
  6. M.Humberstone - 5pts

Y9 Dodgeball Girls

  1. Havelock - 7pts
  2. M.Humberstone - 5pts
