Leadership Academy Graduation

On Tuesday 6th July the very first Leadership Academy Graduation took place. Members of the NELSSP Leadership Academy have attended a variety of courses across the year to obtain nationally recognised qualifications in a number of different sports. The graduation event provided an opportunity to not only to collect their awards but to also get together with friends both old and new and celebrate what they have achieved.

The awards they received ranged from First Aid to the Foundation Award in Coaching Basketball, thus providing the first step onto the sports coaching / officiating ladder. It is hoped that these young sports leaders will now progress on to further coaching / officiating qualifications and support the delivery of sporting opportunities throughout North East Lincolnshire through volunteering.
