On Friday 25th June schools including Laceby Acres, Laceby Stanford & Allerton Primary School joined together on a sunny day to compete in the North East Lincolnshire School Sport Partnership's Y3/4 Mini Red Tennis Competition. This was a full day event hosted by the St James Tennis Club & several volunteers from the Grimsby Institues Tennis Academy.
Each individual played a minimum of 6 games of Tennis gaining points for their schools as they played. The standard was excellent & it proved to be a very enjoyable day with Laceby Acres A collating the most points & been awarded the trophy & free taster session at the club. The final positions were as follows:
