Franklin's badminton team has reached the final of the British Colleges National Tournament by winning the Northern Regional round on Tyneside. The event is played over 10 matches, boys and girls singles,boys and girls doubles and 2 mixed pairs. The team overcame Tyne-Met Colege 6 - 4 and encouraged by this win went on to beat McMillan College from Stockton on Tees 8 - 2 They are looking forward to meeting the winners from the South in the final, to be held in Shropshire at the end of April.
