Primary Schools X-Country Competition
The annual North East Lincolnshire School Sport Partnership's Primary School Y5/6 X-Country competition took place on Wednesday 17th March 2010 at Weelsby Woods in Grimsby alongside distinguished guests in the world of Athletics & volunteers from GIFHE, Healing School & Humberston School.
23 schools took part in the competition resulting in over 450 children tackling the 1km course. Medals were awarded to individuals finishing 1st, 2nd & 3rd in each category with the North East Lincolnshire School Sport Partnership annual shields been awarded to the winner school teams. Congratulations to the following schools:
- Y5 Girls - Signhills Primary
- Y5 Boys - Humberston C of E
- Y6 Girls - Signhills Primary
- Y6 Boys - New Waltham
