Rebound Therapy at Humberston Park

Last month Humberston Park hosted a Rebound Therapy training course for staff at HPS and Cambridge Park School. The course was led by Eddy Anderson, the "guru" of Rebound Therapy and the founder of the rebound concept. This type of therapy involves using the trampoline as a vehicle to develop key skills including gross motor skills, independence, communication, cognition, spacial awareness and enjoyment.  It also benefits wheelchair pupils in working the body -cardivascular fitness and improve core and limb strength and increase/decrease in muscle tone.

HPS have now a rolling RT programme in their PE curriculum increasing the number of students accessing higher quality and quantity of movement.
