2015 Primary X Country - Weelsby Woods

The North East Lincolnshire School Sports Partnership’s Y4/5/6 Primary X Country event took place at Weelsby Woods on Wednesday 4th March 2015.

Each school brought 5 of their athletes to take part, resulting in over 600 athletes from the 23 Primary schools entered, creating the largest ever Primary event. Athletes competed across the following distances, 850m – Year 4, 1000m – Year 5 and 2000m – Year 6, a testing course in the windy conditions.

Athletes had the opportunity to achieve on an individual basis (with the top 3 in each category receiving a medal) and also for their school (the best 4 placed athletes in their school/team).
