As the new academic year approaches so does the fixtures for the Grimsby & District Schools Football League & Cup competitions. To follow on from last years successful change of format, this seasons fixtures will be played in two divisions.

If matches are been played as a league and cup double header please make this known when sending in the results.
Teams will be awarded 3pts for a win, 2pts for a draw and 1pt for a loss. This is to reward those schools who may lose the majority of their matches but are still fulfilling their fixtures.
Fixtures above are for Y8, Y9, Y10 and Y11. I will collate scores from any Y7 matches that take place, however these results will not have an effect on the overall league positions at the end of the season.
Following on from the FA’s youth football reform proposal in the news recently, schools looking to complete an Y7 fixture may wish to play 9 a side. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11661/7783893/FA-backs-youth-reform
Oasis Academy Immingham are unable to host matches, therefore they would require to play their fixtures at their oppositions school.
Schools are free to arrange further matches and friendlies as they wish.
2012/13 Grimsby and District Cup Fixtures – Cup matches are for Y8, Y9, Y10 and Y11 only. Cup matches this year were done on a seeding basis similar to that of a top level football cup. Thus all Division 1 teams received a bye into the quarter finals. All Division 2 teams will compete in the primary round of the cup, however I have aligned the early Division 2 league matches with the opening round of the cup therefore matches can be played as double headers.
