Franklin College is pleased to announce that we have been invited to host the Humberside Sportshall Athletics Final on Monday March 5th. Students from the College Leadership Academy will be involved in setting up, officiating and scoring at the event. Girls and boys from years 5 and 6 will be competing in the morning session, followed by years 7 and 8 in the afternoon. The winners go forward to represent the County of Humberside at the EIS in Sheffield. Franklin leadership students have been involved in a number of festivals and competitions this year that have been organised and supported by the North East Lincolnshire School Sports Partnership. Their leadership skills have seen them participate in courses run by the SSP and they have been able to access paid after-school coaching opportunities in local Primary schools.
