Rules & Regulations

Teams consist of 5 players; teams can be made up of all boys or all girls or a combination. The competition will follow the team timed challenge format as set out by Badminton England.Team managers should rank their players in order of ability from 1 to 5. (1 being the best).The matches will utilise a full singles court adopting Badminton England rules on court lines and serving along with the rally points scoring system.Players should bring their own racquets.Player 1 plays singles against Player 1 from the opposing team for 2 minutes - externally timed.Then players 2 take over but the score rolls over.The team that has built the greater score at the end of the match (10 minutes) wins.A detailed format including timings will be distributed on the day.
