Rules & Regulations

ü  All games will be played cross pitch on the Astro-Turf & appropriate footwear should be worn.

ü  Teams should bring their own sticks, shin pads and goal keeping equipment.

ü  Teams will be 7-a-side with subs if desired.

ü  Games will consist of two 10 minute halves, therefore a full game will last approximately 22 minutes with a quick half time break. Timing will be tight so please ensure your team is ready for the next fixture.

ü  The scoring system is as follows:

Win = 3 Points Draw = 2 PointsLoss = 1 Point

ü  The winning team will be the one with the most points won.

ü  In the event of a tie we will follow this system:

ü  If 2 teams are tied, the winner of the match between them

ü  If 3 or more teams are tied, the team with greater goal difference

ü  If 2 teams are then tied, the winner of the match between them

ü  The winning school will receive a trophy & certificates for all individuals who participate.

ü  Unfortunately as with last year it has proved difficult to get qualified umpires for the competition, therefore if school teachers could umpire their teams games that will be hugely appreciated.
